Nadine West Review- January 2015
(affiliate links within)

My second Nadine West shipment arrived! If you haven't heard, Nadine West is kind of  like a BirchBox or Stitch Fix.  It is completely free to try, no shipping or styling fees! Their prices are also less expensive.  You fill out a style profile and receive 3 items in your package once per month, styled just for you!  You will receive one shirt, and two accessory pieces.  They don't send pants or dresses or more than one article of clothing in order to keep the shipment light (free) for you.  The prices are between $10-$20 per item.  If you don't like something, you just send it back to the company in the envelope they provide.  Easy!  If that sounds like fun, you can check it out here.  It's free to sign up and to try!

So this month, I received:

Basically Fabulous Cardigan $18.49

When I first took this cardigan out, I loved it.  I thought for sure I would be purchasing it and I almost didn't even bother trying it on.  It's a nice dark burgundy color, very soft...also very thin material.  I loved the cut and the length of it....but, that's where my love for the cardigan ended.  I'm glad I tried it on because I noticed this:

The sleeves were super long...and this:

What I really couldn't get past was the fact that the material was cut so that the shirt was attached at like mid- arm.  Kind of like the "cocoon" sweater here in my last Stitch Fix shipment.  Only with this cardigan the sleeves were tight which just made this extra odd, so this shirt went back.

Boho Glam Bracelet $9.49

This bracelet was ok, just not my style.  It was very inexpensive though at less than $10.  One thing I will point out though was I think this bracelet is very small.  Now, I have very thin wrists which usually means that I have trouble finding bracelets to fit me because they are usually to big and flop around my wrist all the time driving me crazy...or possibly losing them if they fall off.  This bracelet, I just barely got closed.  It did go very well though with the necklace that they sent me:

Turquoise Scarab Pendant Necklace $17.99

I like this necklace a lot.  It seems very well made and I love the silver with the turquoise.  It also has a lot of great detail in it.  This necklace is a win.  I wish it was a bit longer, but other than that I love this necklace.  Here is it with the bracelet so you can see how they go together:

Status:  Necklace Kept

So that concludes my second Nadine West shipment.  I still really enjoy receiving my package and since there is free shipping and no styling fee, there really is no reason to quit now, so stay tuned for my 3rd shipment next month!  If you haven't joined in on the fun yet, check them out here.  This is an affiliate link, so if you do sign up, it doesn't cost you anything but I do receive a small credit toward my order. Thank you in advance if you choose to use the link!

Do you get Nadine West too?  What do you think so far?  Since they are a fairly new company, I'm interested to see what others get as well.  Did anyone receive these items too?  Let me know what you think?
