Tuesday, January 27, 2015 Review

I recently came across this site called thredUp.  It's like a consignment shop for high end, name brand clothes.  From what I've seen by reading reviews, searching their site, and buying items myself multiple times, this place is fantastic!  They sell women's clothes, juniors, kids, and accessories up to 90% off retail!  They don't sell men's clothes yet.

Even though it's consignment (so the clothes are pre-worn), they are in impeccable condition.  Some are new with tags, some are like new, and some might have a "tiny flaw"-and they tell you exactly what that is.  Sometimes it's "minimal pilling" or "minimal fading" which you can't even tell when the item arrives (my case).  Best part is, they are giving you $10  $20 free dollars to spend when try them out if you use my link!  Keep reading for that...

They also will buy your gently used name brand clothes if you send it it to them, but from what I hear, I wouldn't advise you do that.  Most reviews I've read about that aspect of their business are negative, saying that someone would send in a bunch of clothes to sell and that the company would give them an incredibly small amount of money in return.  Not many people have been happy with selling them their old clothes, however, it seems that everyone has loved purchasing from their site, including me!  I got some great clothing items for myself from The Limited and J. Crew and got my son a bunch of Polo clothes.  If you want to see what my latest shopping spree consisted of, check out the clothes here.

If you've read my Stitch Fix reviews, you might also be interested to know that they carry a lot of the same brands Stitch Fix does at largely discounted prices!

Ok, on to the free shopping money!!  Right now, thredUp is offering $10 $20 for you to shop with them when you sign up using this link and I will also receive credit to thredUp  if you use it.  And the best part is, you can actually get something for 10 bucks there.  There are a lot of shirts for that price and they are all great brands that are like new.  Another great thing about thredUp is that they always have free shipping over $75.  Love it!

I get a lot of stuff for my son there.  It beats going to an actual consignment shop and beating the crowds trying to find the good deals!  Let me know what you think of it!
